The development of the Get Nailed Championship has come from Lauren & Stuart McBride, Founders of the Get Nailed by Lauren McBride brand. Lauren is a seasoned competitor in Nail competitions around the world, winning several international titles and is also an international educator within the industry. Stu knows all there is to know about nail structure and has an appreciation for nail skills and artistic approaches, although not a nail technician in a practical sense, he most certainly has all the knowledge. Lauren and Stu love the competition side of the nail world, but have since seen a decline in the attendance and repertoire of seasoned competitions. The competition scene was once an exciting and popular place to be. Lauren & Stu feel the need for a shake up within the field and encourage new, raw and talented nail technicians to become part of the competing world, to keep the spirit alive and the fire in our bellies burning!
